Convolute Cutting

Foamcraft is equipped with multiple Convoluters to provide a range of convolute profiles and base and peak dimensions in various foam types. In addition to offering cost advantages, convoluted foam also provides improved comfort and measurable pressure relief in bedding and seating applications.

All five plants of Foamcraft are equipped with Convolute Cutters, four of which equipped with state-of-the-art machines capable of cutting extremely technical foams in a large range of base and peak combinations.

COMFORT SAVER

The unique surface modified maze design offers a cost benefit, improved durability over traditional convolute, and an aesthetic style available exclusively from Foamcraft. Unlike traditional "egg crate" convolute, Comfort Saver has strong support walls, which will enhance the foam's strength and performance over time.

TRADiTIONAL CONVOLUTE

Commonly referred to as "egg crate foam", traditional convoluted foam is a ridged design consisting of peaks and valleys. With these machines and rollers, Foamcraft can turn one solid piece of foam into two pieces which share material, allowing for surface softness and material savings. A literal win-win.
